The proposed project is Categorically Exempt from environmental proceedings pursuant to Section 15301, Class 1, Existing Facilities, of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines, which exempts minor alterations of an existing private structure involving negligible or no expansion of existing or former use as a restaurant. The project is also exempt because the 1,084 square foot addition does not result in an increase of more than 2,500 square feet of floor area of the structure before the addition.
