Reasons for Exemption
The IPM Guidelines changes included in the 2021 updates merely acknowledge longstanding District practices, reflect enhanced record-keeping and documentation requirements, and/or would require changes in District IPM practices that would increase protection of human health and the environment. Accordingly, there is no possibility the 2021 IPM Guidelines Updates may have a significant effect on the environment, and the Updates are therefore exempt from California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) review under CEQA Guidelines section 15061(b)(3).
