Document Description
The project consists of the installation of three new standby generators at three UWCD facilities: 1) Lake Piru Water Treatment Plant and 2) Flocculation Building, and 3) Santa Paula Tower in the City of Santa Paula. The generators will automatically turn on in the event of a power outage to maintain supply of potable water and maintain safe operation of the reservoir and water treatment during outages. Existing Facilities: The project, including the installation of the new generator, consists of the minor alteration of an existing facility that provides public utility services (water), involving no expansion of use beyond that currently existing.
