Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), using state funding only, is proposing to make stormwater improvements at the Alturas Maintenance Station. The project is located on SR 395 in Modoc County at PM 23.07. The purpose of this project is to improve pavement drainage so that sediment can be collected at a singular point. The project is needed to reduce the amount of time required by maintenance crews to establish and maintain stormwater best management practices (BMPs) and allows crews to invest more time to the maintenance of state traveled ways.
