Document Description
The Project includes the construction and operation of photovoltaic (PV) solar facilities and associated infrastructure necessary to generate up to165 megawatt (MW) alternating current (MW-AC) of renewable energy, including up to 245 MW (or 980 megawatt hours (MWh)) of energy storage, on approximately 1,302 acres of privately-owned land.
The Project will result in incidental take of 1,346 western Joshua trees (Yucca brevifola), which are protected under the WJTCA and the California Endangered Species Act. The WJTCA ITP referenced above as issued by CDFW authorizes incidental take of western Joshua tree that may occur as a result of Project implementation.
