Document Description
Notice of Exemption pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15301, Class 1 (Existing Facilities) and Section 15302, Class 2 (Replacement or Reconstruction). The proposed project is located at Receiving Station F (RS-F) in the Boyle Heights neighborhood of the City of Los Angeles. The proposed project includes removing and upgrading the existing fencing at RS-F. The project will remove and install approximately 2,166 linear feet of new fence, using Amiguard 7100 series mesh. Additionally, the project will replace in-kind two 20 foot motorized gates, one 16 foot double swing gate, one 20 foot double swing gate, and one 8 foot double swing gate. The fence and all gates would be grounded. The anticipated construction start date is June 21, 2021.

The proposal for the perimeter fence upgrades at Receiving Station-F meets the requirements of this exemption; therefore, no further CEQA review is required.

The proposal for the perimeter fence upgrades at RS-F meets the requirements of this exemption; therefore, no further CEQA review is required.
