On May 26, 2021, the Board of Directors of the Casitas Municipal Water District approved a term sheet offered by the Central Coast Water Agency allowing the transfer of up to 250 Acre Feet of Casitas Municipal Water District's 2021 Table A State Water Project water supply. The purpose of the project is to augment the Central Coast Water Agency's water supplies. The beneficiaries of the project are the Casitas Municipal Water District and the Central Coast Water Agency.
