Exempt Status
Categorical Exemption
Type, Section or Code
15302(c)(d) - Replacement or Reconstruction
Reasons for Exemption
Class 2(c)(d) exemption allows for undergrounding of utility lines of reasonable length where the surface is restored and that involve negligible or no expansion of use beyond that existing at the time of the lead agency's determination. The State confirms that no exceptions apply which would preclude the use of an exemption for this project. The project will not have a significant effect on resources in the area.
