Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement (EPIMS-SHA-38266-R1), pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1602, the project Applicant, Christian Church Homes, represented by Jevon Allen. The project is limited to clearing, grading, and construction of a 3-acre parcel, for a senior housing development which will include 59 affordable senior dwelling units and one manager’s unit, office and community spaces, as well as 32 on-grade parking spaces. The grading will permanently impact 0.016-acres of existing aquatic resources on the site as well as 0.007 acres of indirect impacts. An ephemeral channel will be permanently removed by re-routing water through a series of storm drains, ending in two off-channel bio- retention basins (and a third auxiliary detention basin), which will discharge through storm drain outfalls back to the remanent channel during high flow events. Impacts to wetland and stream habitat are proposed to be mitigated onsite.
