Document Description
Install automatic cantilever style security gates, one (1) each, at the Diablo Range District Office and Carnegie Park Office entrances, to provide additional security for park staff. At each location, work will:
x Use a 10-inch auger to dig three (3), 2 feet deep by 10 inch diameter post holes;
x Install one (1) 4-inch post into each of the three holes;
x Pour one 36-inch by 36-inch concrete pad on grade (no ground disturbance);
x Excavate a 45-foot-long by 12 inch wide by 2 feet deep trench and install 2 inch conduit with control wires to control a “traffic loop” switch placed in existing driveway;
x Backfill the trench and the post holes with excavated materials; and
x Install all necessary gate control panels, batteries and solar panels on the concrete pads
