Document Description
The Sunnyvale School District proposes to upgrade and reconstruct the developed portion of the Ellis Elementary School campus. The project would not increase the student capacity of the campus and the turf fields located at the southeastern corner of campus would remain unchanged. All proposed improvements would be located within the existing elementary school campus boundary. Specifically, the project would demolish all or a portion of 19 existing campus buildings and construct a new two-story classroom building, multi-use building, modular kindergarten building, and modular daycare building. The project would also modernize five existing buildings, construct three new parking/drive-through student drop-off areas, a bus drop-off zone, two new lunch shelters, a new amphitheater/open space area, and various exterior site improvements. The project will not increase the number of classrooms on campus or enrollment capacity.
