Document Description
Sacramento County accepted Groundwater Sustainability Agency (GSA) responsibility in the Cosumnes subbasin and is required to participate in a groundwater monitoring program established through a Groundwater Sustainability Plan (GSP). The Cosumnes Subbasin receives CA Department of Water Resources Prop 1 and Prop 68 grant funding for development of the GSP and associated groundwater monitoring network, which includes Prop 68 grant funding for the installation of groundwater monitoring wells. This project proposes to install a groundwater monitoring well near the Cosumnes River on private property. The well site is located within the established agricultural field and is accessible by maintained agricultural roads.
