Document Description
The project using State funds only, would replace or line 7 culverts in Shasta County on State Route 299 at Post Miles (PM) 18.32, 18.33, 18.37, 19.30, 19.42, 19.49, and 20.20. These culverts are at the end of their service life. The first location at PM 18.32 will require a drainage easement, (20’ x 39.5’), and the second location at PM 18.33 will require a construction easement, (20’ x 15’), to line the culvert. All other locations are within the existing Caltrans Right of Way (R/W). The project will also require clearing and grubbing.

Class 1 consists of the operation, repair, maintenance, permitting, leasing, licensing, or minor alteration of existing public or private structures, facilities, mechanical equipment, or topographical features, involving negligible or no expansion of existing or former use, and would have no significant effect on the environment.
