Document Description
The purpose of this Project is to restore and enhance the aquatic and riparian habitat of the Shoshone Springbrook for the benefit of the endemic Shoshone pupfish. This will be accomplished by reconstructing the first 475 feet of the highly modified channel outside of the Cal Trans right-of-way. A two-stage channel (narrower low-flow center channel buffered by a wider floodplain channel) will be constructed to concentrate the spring-brook flows in a narrow open water channel as habitat for the pupfish.
