Reasons for Exemption
The project is necessary to protect the environment by eliminating the present adverse impacts to the stream and fish and wildlife resources. The projects proposed include the replacement of an undersized culvert stream crossing to minimize sediment input into the watershed and capping of an existing seep well so that it can no longer be used for the diversion of surface water. This project, as carried out in accordance with the Agreement, poses no significant adverse impacts to endangered, rare or threatened species or their habitat.
