The Los Osos Community Services District (LOCSD) is considering the construction and operation of a new Lower Aquifer well to serve the community’s water supply needs (project) as identified in Program C of the Los Osos Basin Plan (Basin Plan), located in Los Osos, San Luis Obispo County, California. Program C includes a set of infrastructure improvements that would allow water purveyors in the Basin to shift some groundwater production within the Lower Aquifer of the Los Osos Groundwater Basin (Basin) from the Western Area of the basin to the Central Area of the basin.
