Document Description
The proposed project is a request for a minor variance to the required 5-foot side yard setback for a single-family residential dwelling addition. City Code requires a minimum setback of 10 feet for all residential structures. The owner is requesting to encroach into the 10-foot front yard setback by 5 feet. The variance is being requested to maintain an existing garage, which has been designated as an eligible historic resource by the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency. The applicant is proposing to add an addition that connects the garage to the main house.
