Document Description
The proposed project is limited to maintenance dredging of the existing Ski Run Marina entrance channel to elevation 6219 feet Lake Tahoe Datum (LTD) in order to remove accumulated sediment and restore boating access to the inner marina. A long reach excavator will be used from a temporary work platform to remove the sediment from the marina channel and then load it into sealed trucks for removal. The project will result in the temporary disturbance of approximately 0.06 acre (estimated dredge quantity 635 cubic yards) of lakebed associated with the maintenance dredging activity.
