Document Description
The project is limited to the planting of native shrubs and small tree species (from 5-, 15- and 24-galloncontainers) along the tops of banks and on the moderately to steeply sloped banks of a perennial stream channel located at the back of several residential properties. The plantings are proposed to restore the banks and riparian areas impacted by a previous Public Works sanitary sewer line rehabilitation project, authorized by streambed alteration agreement #1600-2018-0175-R3, and to provide screening of newly constructed aerial sewer crossings from adjacent residential viewsheds. The installation of temporary deer fencing or tree cages may be required to protect the new plantings from deer foraging. Planting is planned to occur in February of 2021.
