Document Description
The project will correct structural deficiencies that have been identified in Mann Laboratory, Jungerman Hall, Sprocket Building, Voorhies Hall, Young Hall, and the Social Sciences and Humanities Building based on structural analysis in accordance with the UC Seismic Safety Policy. The seismic improvements for each building will address building-specific deficiencies, including reinforcing shear walls, foundations, tie beams and roofs. Deferred maintenance and code-triggered improvements will also be implemented, which will also be building-specific and include improvements to electrical systems, safety systems, plumbing, entry doors, lighting, painting, exterior paths of travel and landscaping.
