Document Description
Metropolitan Water District of Southern California (MWDSC) plans to deliver up to 100,000 acre-feet of its water stored in the Diamond Valley Lake ( “Non-Project Water”) to MWDSC’s Box Spring Feeder Turnout located in Reach 28H of the California Aqueduct. MWDSC will make the Non-Project Water available in the California Aqueduct via its Perris Bypass Pipeline for subsequent delivery by DWR to MWDSC’s Box Springs Feeder turnout in Reach 28H of the California Aqueduct through March 31, 2022. This is to improve operational flexibility in the event of potential continued drought condition by meeting demands at MWDSC’s Henry J. Mills Water Treatment Plant.
