Document Description
The Project is limited to the construction and installation of a 27-inch diameter PVC pipe with a fish screen in the Calaveras River, through which water will be drawn by two vertical turbine water pumps to irrigate the adjacent almond orchard. The two water pumps will be constructed atop a concrete pad approximately 60 feet back from the top-of-bank of the Calaveras River. Approximately 384 square feet of rock slope protection (RSP) will be placed on the bank and in the channel around the pump inlet to secure and protect the inlet and fish screen. The fish screen will be made up of size 12 mesh (1.4mm openings) and will be self-cleaning in design.
