Document Description
Bryan Menegon is seeking a Minor Use Permit from the County of Lake for a proposed commercial cannabis cultivation operation at 11155 Socrates Mine Road in Middletown, California, known as APN 013-057-17 (project parcel). The project will comprise a total of 3,600 ft2 canopy area within a 3,960 ft2 cultivation area and A-Type 13 Distributor Transport Only, Self- Distribution. The applicant will construct three (3) 120 ft2 storage sheds individually used for storage, security, and ADA restroom on the 12.74-acre rural lands zoned project property. The current and past land uses of the project property is currently vacant, however, the project site was previously disturbed by an existing garden. The proposed cultivation area is fairly flat with a range been 0-10% and approximately 20.85% average cross slope of the whole parcel due to the steep hillslope on parts of the parcel. The project property is currently improved with a groundwater well, an existing garden enclosed by an approximately 4 feet deer fence. The applicant is require to meet local code and is included in the conditions of approval for fence enclosure.

The project site is also located in an area with the least environmental impact and away from many biological and cultural resources.
