Document Description
Install a Conex container in soil adjacent to the existing parking lot behind the California State Railroad Museum, to provide additional secure storage space necessary to facilitate operation of the museum. Project area measures 1 0' X 24' and the Conex container measures 8' X 20'. Project will: • Grade and remove the top 8"-1 O" layer of topsoil; • Dig approximately 22 feet of shallow trenches 8" wide x 3"-5" deep and lay railroad ties and ballast to create a flat surface on which the container will rest; • Excavate a trench measuring 12" wide x 7" long x 24" deep and install a conduit for electrical wiring from the existing an existing buried conduit to the container.
