The proposed project would consist of a minor alteration to an agricultural field
with a slope of less than 10%. The existing pond would be drawn down and dry prior to excavation. The existing pond would then be excavated to create the new pond. The project site is not located in a scenic area, and area of severe geologic hazard, or in an official Seismic Hazard Zone, as mapped by the State Geologist.
