Antelope Valley-East Kern Water Agency (AVEK) will transfer up to 1,000 Acre-Ft of SWP Water supply to Kern County Water Agency (KCWA) in 2021 for the benefit of Tejon Ranch Co., a landowner within the two agencies. Water will be delivered through KCWA’s SWP turnouts along the California Aqueduct.

Water transfer involves imported water delivered through the SWP Calif. Aqueduct that would otherwise be consumed or stored by AVEK.
