Document Description
The proposed project includes the replacement of the existing sports field lighting system with an energy-efficient system with modern LED fixtures, advanced controls, and light shields to mitigate light pollution. Additionally, existing security lights surrounding the ballfield, and at strategic locations throughout the park, will be replaced to promote energy efficiency, along with related improvements.

This includes but is not limited to Class 2 (c) for replacement or reconstruction of existing facilities involving negligible or no expansion of capacity. The project is also consistent with the County CEQA Guidelines. The City Terrace Park Lighting Improvements Project is consistent with Class 2, which provides for replacement or reconstruction of existing structures and facilities. This includes but is not limited to Class 2 (e) for replacement or reconstruction of existing facilities involving negligible or no expansion of capacity.
