Document Description
Tahoe Keys Property Owners Association is proposing to install two temporary emergency water treatment facilities at two locations within the Tahoe Keys Subdivisions. The temporary treatment facilities are needed to treat an immediate threat from an increase in uranium levels that have been detected in Well #2 and #3 of the Tahoe Keys Water Company (TKWC) well water system. The proposed use will be temporary in nature while TKPOA and TKWC explore options for a long-term water supply agreement with Lukins or STPUD or relocating the temporary facility to a central location and converting it to a permanent facility.
