Document Description
Gilton Resource Recovery is proposing to operate a Food Processing By-Product Dehydration site. This project will consist of a change of operators on an existing Food Processing By-Product Dehydration site. The new operators will be operating under similar plan of operations and conditions as the previous operators. The site will operate from March 15 to October 15 annually. Cannery waste/product will arrive from the operators processing site located on 800 McClure after it is processing and prepared for drying. Operator-owned transport vehicles will transport the product to the project location for drying. 53,500 tons of product are estimated to be dehydrated annually. The end product will be used as an ingredient for pet food.
