Document Description
The Project will upgrade the State Park’s stream diversion and water distribution system to improve stream flow for the benefit of fish and wildlife. This will be accomplished by installing a new diversion pump that can operate at lower diversion rates, constructing a 100,000-gallon water storage tank, replacing leaky pipelines and installing efficient water fixtures. Surface flow will be diverted in winter directly to storage for use in the summer months. The Park will reduce their diversion rate by 66% between April 1st and September 14th, forbear 100% of diversions from September 15th to October 31st, and dedicate 0.04 cfs to stream flow annually.
