This planning project on the Little Shasta River will (1) develop alternatives analysis for replacing a diversion and create conceptual designs for the preferred alternative; (2) study and determine methods to address an identified water quality issue in the
lower portion of the river; and (3) identify opportunities to partner with additional landowners to improve onfarm irrigation efficiencies .This activity will lead to instream flow enhancement to improve access to critical habitat for adults and improve out-migration flows for juvenile coho salmon
