Document Description
This planning project will create designs to expand a rainwater harvesting system constructed in 2012 which currently has insufficient rainwater inflow to fill existing tanks. Designs will be developed to divert peak winter flows from Pennington Creek to fill existing and newly constructed tanks. A water availability analysis, steelhead habitat assessment, and preparation of an appropriative water right application will also be conducted as part of this planning project. Future implementation will directly benefit Pennington Creek, a steelhead bearing stream, by eliminating pumping from riparian wells from July through November
