Document Description
The Sewer Replacement Project -Iberia Tract (District Project No. 195065) is located in the City of Jurupa Valley, County of Riverside. The Project site, which runs underneath the SR 60 freeway, is from a connection point north of Lansford Street to San Sevaine Way. The purpose of this Project is to separate residential sewage from industrial wastes. The residential sewage generated by the 101 residences within the Iberia Tract is currently collected and discharged to the Inland Empire Brine Line (IEBL), which is a facility intended for industrial wastewater, and treated by the Orange County Sanitation District. Improvements include the construction of approximately 1,200 feet of new pipeline, which will convey the residential sewage to JCSD’s existing sewer network for treatment at the Riverside Water Quality Control Plant (RWQCP). The project entails the other minor alterations to JCSD’s sewer network. Project construction will entail jack and bore, trenching, backfill and compaction work and connections to the existing sewer system. Restoration of surfaces to their original condition will be performed as well as protection and support of existing above and below grade facilities and utilities.
