Reasons for Exemption
Dam Road Extension and South Center Drive Improvement Project consists of resurfacing treatment of an existing roadway as well as curb, gutter and sidewalk in place of a current bicycle lane and qualifies for the Categorical Exemption, Class 1(c) – Existing Facilities from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) as it is rehabilitating existing roadways that show signs of distress The project does not alter nor change any existing/historical drainage patterns. All roadways are single lanes in each direction (two-lane roads).
