Document Description
The proposed project would close/decommission numerous existing social trails and realign and construct new trails at Rush Creek Open Space Preserve to provide the public with a safe multi-use trail system, to enhance visitor experience, reduce environmental impacts of fire roads and trails in sensitive areas. 7,000 feet of new trail construction would occur, 680 feet of fire road would be converted to a multi-use trail, and approximately 2,300 feet of social trails would be decommissioned. One trail would be converted from multi-use to a hiking-only trail.
