Document Description
The project would install symbolic fencing in an area heavily used by Western snowy plovers for both overwintering roosts and nesting at Huntington State Beach. This fencing will reduce disturbance to plovers by directing people and park operations around known roost sites rather than through. Signage will be placed along the post and cable fencing and the area will be monitored for plover activity.
