Document Description
This Amendment (SWPAO #10012-A) amends the “Point of Delivery Agreement among the Department of Water Resources of the State of California, Santa Clara Valley Water District and Kern County Water Agency for the Semitropic Water Banking and Exchange Program (SWPAO #10012),” which was executed on December 30, 2010. The original Agreement (SWPAO #10012), dated December 30, 2010, sets forth the terms and provisions for the delivery of a portion of SCVWD’s approved State Water Project (SWP) water supplies to KCWA for storage in a groundwater bank underlying Semitropic Water Storage District’s (Semitropic) service area through December 31, 2020 and for the future recovery of such water by SCVWD for use in its service area by December 31, 2035. This Amendment (SWPAO #10012-A) amends SWPAO #10012 by extending the deadline for which SCVWD may deliver its approved SWP water supplies to KCWA for storage from December 31, 2020 to December 31, 2030. SCVWD shall still recover its stored water by December 31, 2035. Additionally, this Amendment defines the meaning of “approved SWP water supplies” for clarity.
