The purpose of this project is to improve the traffic safety performance on SR 39 at Orange Avenue. Based on TASAS data from District 12 Traffic Safety Program, the intersection of SR-39 and Orange Avenue is experiencing higher than average number of collisions for similar intersections on State facilities.
