Document Description
Install additional leach field for picnic septic system in anticipation of heavier than normal use of the Lot #3 picnic area. Trenching will occur a minimum of 10ft from base of nearby bay and sycamore trees. Two (2) bay trees will be removed prior to excavation. All avoidance measures will be done in conjunction with DPR resource specialists. Work will:
• Excavate two (2) parallel trenches approximately 50ft long, 3ft wide, and 5ft deep;
• Backfill trenches to correct drainage height with drain rock and install perforated drain pipes;
• Install connection pipe from current leach line and isolation valves with access via Christie boxes;
• Backfill trenches with additional drain rock and reserved excavation spoils; and
• Broadcast any remaining spoils around worksite to no greater than 4in in depth and cover with forest duff.
