Caltrans proposes to drill 2 geotechnical borings at the Caltrans Idlewild Maintenance Station, located along highway 199 at Post Mile 28.1 in Del Norte County. The purpose of the geotechnical investigation is to collect subsurface information and samples as necessary for analysis, design preparation, and construction considerations to prepare a foundation investigation report for the Idlewild Maintenance Station Rehabilitation Project
