Document Description
LACFCD proposes to conduct project activities related to the routine maintenance of 103 soft-bottom flood control channel reaches. Annual routine maintenance activities for the soft-bottom channel reaches involve minor structural repairs, vegetation maintenance, sediment and debris maintenance, surface water diversion, and the implementation of general best management practices (BMPs). Project activities also include habitat restoration, maintenance, and monitoring at Stickleback River Ranch. The project does not involve any additional construction or other activities, and it is limited to ongoing maintenance activities required to protect downstream property and infrastructure from potential damage caused by flooding and debris flows.
