Document Description
This Amendment No. 1 involves PG&E’s Southern California Desert Gas Pipeline Operation and Maintenance Activities (Project), as approved by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) with the certification of the Final EIR, consists of PG&E continuing to carry out ongoing operation and maintenance of its Southern California desert gas pipeline system as conditioned by a California Endangered Species Act Incidental Take Permit (ITP) for the take of desert tortoise (Gopherus agassizii), the Mohave ground squirrel (Xerospermophilus mohavensis). ITP Amendment No. 1 includes revised Mohave ground squirrel Conditions of Approval 7.15, 7.16, 7.17 and the addition of western Joshua tree (Yucca brevifolia) as a covered species under the ITP with approximately 26 acres of western Joshua tree habitat annually.
