Southern California desert gas pipeline system as conditioned by a California Endangered Species Act Incidental Take Permit (ITP) for the take of desert tortoise (Gopherus agassizii), the Mohave ground squirrel (Xerospermophilus mohavensis). ITP Amendment No. 1 includes revised Mohave ground squirrel Conditions of
Approval 7.15, 7.16, 7.17 and the addition of western Joshua tree (Yucca brevifolia) as a covered species under the ITP with approximately 26 acres of western Joshua tree habitat annually.
