An Irrevocable Offer of Dedication has been prepared for the new road turnaround on Drive 88 to accommodate a road turnaround on Drive 88 to maintain public access to the adjacent parcels. The vacation of land is necessary to allow construction of the State Route 99/Caldwell Interchange Project which consists of reconstructing the Caldwell Avenue Interchange on State Route 99. The new interchange will include a new bridge over State Route 99, the construction of new ramps, and the installation of two new multi-lane roundabouts at the ramp intersections with Avenue 280. Caltrans is currently in the design and right-of-way acquisition phase of the interchange project. For Caltrans to complete the right-of-way phase and move into the construction phase, they are requesting the County of Tulare and Sequoia Gateway LLC. memorialize the Irrevocable Offers. The interchange project will also involve the realignment of local frontage roads, including Drive 88. As such, the beneficiaries of this Project include County residents, visitors, merchants//businesses, employees, etc., using Caldwell Avenue (Avenue 280) and SR 99.
