Document Description
The Project consists of a utility-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) electrical generating and battery energy storage system (BESS) and associated infrastructure facilities, and a proposed 500-kilovolt (kV) generatortie line (gen-tie) connecting to the Southern California Edison (SCE) Red Bluff Substation. The Project is expected to generate 500 megawatts (MW) of renewable energy. The overall Project is divided into five separate project areas.Project A consists of a utility-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) electrical generating and battery energy storage system (BESS) and associated infrastructure facilities, project B consists of a proposed 500-kilovolt (kV) generator-tie line (gen-tie) connecting to the Southern California Edison (SCE) Red Bluff Substation, project C consists of the medium voltage AC lines, project D consists of the roads in between the solar sites and any access roads, and project E consists of all the pull/tensions sites to support the gen-tie line. The project activities will result in a loss of approximately 143.67 acres of stream habitat
