Document Description
Conduct repairs to the Roman Pool Roof and Tennis Courts to prevent leaks from the tennis courts down to the Roman pool below, to preserve cultural resources. Work will: - Repair the concrete floor of the courts in areas determined to need reinforcement. Install new expansion joint material and seal the entire court with a liquid applied, alkaline resistant, saturating resin with fiberglass or polyester reinforcement. Finish the court surface with a rubberized outdoor tennis court mat and paint.

This project consists of the repair and maintenance of existing public structures, involving negligible or no expansion of existing or former use; maintenance, repair, stabilization, rehabilitation, restoration, preservation, conservation or reconstruction of historical resources in a manner consistent with the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties with Guidelines for Preserving, Rehabilitating, Restoring, and Reconstructing Historic Buildings (1995), Weeks and Grimmer, included as maintenance in the Department of Parks and Recreation's list of exempt activities in accordance with CCR §15300.4.
