Document Description
Demolition of: existing swale/gutter, 2 transit shelters, AC pavement and concrete sidewalk; and construction of: new curb and gutter, AC pavement, concrete sidewalk and 2 transit shelters. Both existing transit shelters are in a state of disrepair and are past their useful lives. Reasons for Exemption
The proposed project involves replacement of existing transit shelters with new transit shelters on the same sites in substantially the same location as the existing shelters, with the same purpose and negligible expansion of existing capacity. The associated replacement of existing curb, gutter, AC pavement and sidewalk is to facilitate ADA compliant construction of the new shelters, and is therefore a minor alteration of existing public infrastructure.
