The Proposed Project proposes to develop an aquatic center to replace the existing indoor pool at Woodrow Wilson High School, and provide a regulation size pool for water polo games or swim meets as well as for physical education, parks and recreation, summer programs, and for the Special Olympics. Construction of the Proposed Project's main facilities will include an outdoor swimming pool, bleachers, locker rooms/offices, restrooms, showers, stadium lights, LED scoreboard, parking stalls, wall enclosures, surveillance cameras, and an equipment storage enclosure/room. The Proposed Project will be in use routinely with exception of a few days in the year, as well as accommodating outside group activities that do not conflict with the needs of the school water polo and swim teams.
