The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS-SDO-34398-R5, pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1602, the project Applicant, City of Oceanside. The proposed project involves enhancement of the existing marsh in the Slough and restoration of marsh and transitional uplands in the adjacent properties. Goals of the project include improving and restoring habitat for native species, providing increased habitat resiliency to sea level rise, improving water quality in the Slough, and enhancing recreational enjoyment of the area.
