Document Description
The Central Valley Water Board intends to establish the proposed Waste Discharge Requirements (WDRs) for NPS Discharges Related to Certain Activities Conducted by the USFS and BLM on Federal Lands (Proposed Project or Federal NPS Permit). This permit would regulate NPS discharges from federal lands related to the following activities K::onducted by the USFS and BLM: vegetation management, transportation management, recreation facilities management, post-emergency recovery, restoration activities, and emergency response activities2. As described further below, the proposed Federal NPS Permit would include requirements for best management practice (BMP) implementation and effectiveness monitoring; actively addressing Controllable Sediment Discharge Sources (CSDS), and conditions for post-fire management and reforestation planning.
