This project proposes to install a left-turn channelization lane on the north and south legs of the intersection of State Route 119 and Kern Street/Airport Road, PM 0.34, Taft, Kern County. The purpose of this project is to improve safety at the intersection of SR 119 and Kern Street/Airport Road in the City of Taft. The project is needed to address the number and severity of collisions at this intersection.
